Who am I?

Growing up, my favorite movies were Sneakers, Hackers, and WarGames. These films, coupled with my parents bringing home a 386 computer with an external 28.8 modem, sparked my curiosity in computers that never stopped. It led to a love for hacking and engineering.

Despite many who incorrectly think hacking requires extensive coding knowledge, while there are many fields you can specialize in that absolutely will require low level knowledge in many different fields including programming, I focused mostly on:

  • APIs
  • Web applications security
  • Mobile applications security

AOL provided a network of other computer-savvy individuals which led to collaborative projects where I would supply a method of attack working side by side with developers to make tools that would execute at scale. I really enjoyed breaking stuff.

The biggest problem I would encounter is unstable programmers who one week were productive the next week MIA. One day I told myself f** it lets just do this shi* myself*. 18 hour days, I became as passionate about programming as I had hacking, not to mention my prior experience laid a welcoming hand in my journey making things stick and be less tedious.

I like to pragmatically approach problems and I am a big fan of the "fail fast" mentality. I am not afraid to try new things and I am not afraid to fail. I do believe you should have a full understanding of how something works on a low level to truly understand how things can be broken or improved with high success.

That being said, that's enough about me, let's talk about things.
